A pearl from the 14th century – the medieval, but at the same time also modern apartments in the Rataskaevu Residence in the heart of Tallinn, are a great place to stay.

The Residence is located in the old town, approximately 200 metres from the Town Hall Square, on Rataskaevu Street 16. In front of the building you can find the Rataskaevu well, which is well-known from historical books. The medieval building has been restored, saving as many historical elements as possible, such as ceiling paintings, stairs and others. All apartments are carefully designed to combine historical elements and modern furniture. The Rataskaevu Residence business class apartments offer comfortable and quality accommodation in one- to 4-room apartments. The smallest apartment can accomodate 2 people and the biggest is suitable for up to 8 people.

Food & beverage

We do not serve breakfast, but are happy to provide to our customers delicious breakfasts at the Restaurant Pegasus or a breakfast room service. The menus are available in the apartments.

Breakfast at the Restaurant Pegasus is served Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 12:00, on Saturdays from 09:00 to 12:00 and on Sundays from 10:00 to 12:00.
Room service breakfast is served Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 12:00, and on weekends from 10:00 to 13:00. This has to be ordered by no later than 22:00 the day before.

Room information

All apartments have a living room with a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, bedroom(s), a private bathroom with bath tub, Jacuzzi or shower. Many apartments also have a Finnish sauna. The majority of bedrooms are with double beds. Though there is one one-bedroom apartment and one 2-bedroom apartment, which offer the possibility to have one bedroom with separate beds. All bedrooms are equipped with bed linen and towels (one big and one small per person).

Travel information

We are happy to provide our guests complimentary transfer on arrival. We will meet you at the airport, harbour, bus station or train station and will take you to your apartment, so we need your arrival details. Parking possibility is within 200 metres from the apartments at an additional cost.

Important information

Please inform Rataskaevu Residence about the following:

1. Your arrival details in order to arrange a meeting for delivery of keys in case you do not use our transfer.
2. In case you wish to use our free transfer on arrival inform us at least 2 working days in advance about your arrival details (flight/ferry/bus/train name, number, arrival time in Tallinn).
3. If you need a sofa bed.

We request payment on arrival. The payment has to be done in local currency (EEK).
